When a lead says yes, it's time to convert it into a project. Here's the workflow.
Once you've won a lead (moved it to the 'Won' stage), you can create a new project and link it to the same contact. The project will carry over the client information and any notes from the lead.
From the lead detail page, note the estimated value, scope description, and any relevant details. Then navigate to Projects and create a new project with this information.
Link the project to the same contact that was associated with the lead. This maintains the full history — from first inquiry through project completion — on the contact's profile.
Tip: Create an estimate for the project before starting work. This formalizes the scope and pricing, and gives you a document to reference if questions come up later.
