Projects are where the real work happens in Hammr. Here's everything you need to know about managing them effectively.
Creating a Project. Click 'New Project' on the Projects page. Fill in the name, description, client, address, start/end dates, and budget. All fields except the name are optional — you can add details as they become available.
Project Statuses. Each project has a status: Planning (pre-construction), In Progress (active work), On Hold (paused), Completed (finished), or Cancelled. Update the status as the project moves through its lifecycle.
Project Overview. The project detail page shows everything at a glance: completion percentage, budget vs. actual costs, task summary, linked estimates and invoices, and uploaded documents.
Tip: Update your project's completion percentage regularly. This gives you and your team an honest view of where things stand and helps identify projects that are falling behind.
