Importing contacts and leads

If you have existing contacts from another system, spreadsheet, or your phone, you can add them to Hammr to keep everything in one place.

Currently, contacts are added individually through the Contacts page. Click 'Add Contact' and fill in the details — name, email, phone, company, address, and contact type (client, subcontractor, vendor, or inspector).

Tip: Start by adding your most active clients and the leads you're currently working. You don't need to import everything on day one. Add contacts as they come up naturally in your workflow.

For leads, navigate to the Leads page and click 'Add Lead.' Enter the lead title, description, estimated value, source (referral, website, etc.), and assign a priority. Each lead starts in the 'New' stage of your pipeline.

Pro tip: Link leads to existing contacts to keep your data connected. When a lead converts to a project, you'll have the full history in one place.
