Stay on top of your cash flow by tracking payments against your invoices.
Invoice Statuses. Invoices move through statuses: Draft → Sent → Paid (or Partially Paid, Overdue, Cancelled). Update the status as payments come in.
Recording Payments. When you receive a payment, update the 'Amount Paid' field on the invoice. If the client pays in installments, update the amount after each payment — the status will automatically show as 'Partially Paid.'
Overdue Invoices. Any invoice past its due date is marked as Overdue on your dashboard. Review overdue invoices weekly and follow up with clients promptly.
Dashboard Summary. The main dashboard shows your total pending invoices and overall revenue, giving you a quick snapshot of your financial health.
Tip: Set a reminder to review outstanding invoices every Monday. A consistent follow-up routine dramatically reduces the average time it takes to get paid.
